We, the undersigned, formally lodge  objections and reasons, to the Application for an Exploration License No.EL007430  relating to  the areas Buchan, Murrindal, Wtree, Gelantipy and surrounds.

We agree with these reasons, and/or have stated our individual reasons, when signing the petition.  

(1) Area has been ravaged by 2019/2020 bushfires, and previous fires,  or is adjacent to vast tracks of East Gippsland that was. The immense loss of flora and fauna whole ecological systems spanning hundreds of square kilometres, means that any actions to disturb or disrupt natural recovery would have an unacceptable impact on the overall environment. 

(2) Environmental recovery takes decades, and the remaining intact land, part of covers land for  which this application has been lodged,  provides habitat and food for the surviving and new wildlife. The vast area of East Gippsland needs repopulating and ecology systems to regenerate, and the intact land is one major the means for this to occur.
