Despite the many distressing comments posted on the petition website it appears, from the one and only Kennel Club response, that the KC will not make any changes to help our lovely dogs have a healthier future. There is not even any indication that the long promised Heart Scheme for Cavaliers will be given any priority. It would seem that even with 2,600 names we need to go on collecting signatures and raising awareness of the suffering caused by these two widespread Cavalier conditions. A YouTube film featuring short clips of Cavaliers displaying some of the many symptoms is now being planned.
