Following a DNA test, we have recently been informed that our dog's dam (mother) is not the dam named on his pedigree certificate. 

Countries like The Netherlands require DNA sampling of all pups registered with their equivalant Kennel Club.

To protect those who purchase dogs, ensuring they receive the pedigree they pay for, as well as protecting vulnerable breeds with limited gene pools, we request that the Kennel Club considers implementing this process - even for a trial period to assess effectiveness. Reputable breeders with nothing to hide should welcome this additional protection.

This issue can affect ANYONE who purchases a dog.
