WOW - Over 1000 signatures in a little over 72 hours. This is a great start, but we need to do more.

We need to continue to share this message to those who benefit from Tourism in Far North Queensland.

The includes people like bus, cab and uber drivers, front of house, housekeepers & maintenance staff from hotels, laundromats that do the heavy lifting keeping hotel sheets clean, restaurants, cafes, pubs & clubs, tradies of any type who do projects for tourism operators, graphic designers, signwriters & web developers, CBD and Cairns Airport retailers, the list is endless when you think about it....

There appears to be no sign of the Southern state lockdowns being lifted any time soon and we sincerely feel for all of our southern neighbours facing these lengthy lockdowns.

We have been given no assurance that even with Vaccine rates of +80% that the Palaszczuk Government will allow travellers in from with NSW or VIC, whilst there are still any active cases in these regions.

The Industry is being held hostage by Government factors that it cannot control. 

So once again, please continue your great efforts of sharing this message. It really is vital that Our Elected Leaders (both Federal and State) see the scale of our predicament and recognise our immediate need for short term financial support in this time of crisis.
