Dearest Veteran's Supporters, It is amazing how many people are taking action, advocating, and voicing opinions about issues that matter to this great nation. I watched President Obama's farewell speech today since I was in class last night when he spoke live on national television. "Yes, we can, yes, we did" and I am adding, "Yes, we will and yes, we are!" The Veteran's Administration's plan for the Hot Springs location is to make it a small clinic for dialysis patients and a small call center that will bring in 120 call center jobs. The hospital is closing which means that the mental health department is gone and any Veterans in need of treatment for PTSD will be losing that crucial resource. The hospital offers residential services that meet more health care needs that include hospice care and those services plus more are what we are fighting to keep. We are asking the Honorable Robert A. McDonald to finish upgrading the Hot Springs, SD hospital to be ADA accessible and not continue with the closing process. Thank You Again, Caroline Lane
