I have worked in mental health services for the past 35 years + and see first hand the effect that the COVID 19 pandemic and the management of such have caused. I have been doubly vaxxed by choice and was alarmed when it was mandated giving Victorians the the choice of "no jab, no job. The unvaxxed have become pariahs creating division in Australian society.

Victorians are concerned about the impact of lockdown on mental health and jobs. They have suffered two years of lockdowns enduring lack of contact with family and friends. Relatives have died in nursing homes alone, holidays cancelled, education disrupted for many VCE students and the toll on mental and emotional stress is rising. Relationships have broken down, domestic violence has risen and businesses ruined. 

The Victorian public expect the premier to be transparent and enable them to see and understand how he and the CHO operated in an honest way over the last two years. For this to happen, the premier and his cohort must provide information about their activities and governance to the Victorian public that is accurate, complete and made available in a timely way. This enables accountability.

Mr Andrews, it is time to come clean and release the "secret lockdown briefings".
