Hi there sailor, 

In the vast world of ever growing information you, (a) dear reader, have caught a whim of a curious trademark dispute.Namely, a lawyer group representing The Great inc. -  a company in the ownership of the trademark ‘The Great’ has filed for opposition against The Great Company owner and their 'great' logo  under the point
5(2)(b)-  similar to an earlier mark and for identical/similar goods and services.

If you find this as amusing as we at TGC (TheGreatCompany) do, and/or wish to learn more about the dispute and trademarks in general click here .We have done an invested attempt in illuminating the matter in as objective a manner as possible.  

However, that is far from a sole reason behind this greatly entertaining petition. 

Pure fun, some mischief and a penchant for linguistics can all stand as equal pillars behind a strategic act.
Namely, ‘great’  autonomy  is on the horizon and all agency makes an impact.
As the big company behind the opposition has means several orders of magnitude compared to ours at this particular moment in time, we turn towards The Internet Gods and their derivatives.

The Great Company was initially founded as a means of organising artist's reference archive and growing library of content spanning across all sorts of human endeavours whilst observing the notion of transfer through history.
It was meant to be a slow-cooking project, a garden of sorts - yet it seems that the spotlight couldn’t wait.

And the fun has just begun as this proof of work unravels(!)

As you cast your vote through the petition - a token of investment into The Great Company, The Great Company on its side pledges to deliver highly educational and entertaining content, seeking to abridge communities and dive into the unfolding of sans apparatus , whilst providing  (cis-white-western) any and all relevant groupings an insight into the references the creative cultures sail their ships on. 
The focus is on informational growth and emphasis on how the evolutionary algorithm propagates (itself?)  throughout whilst accounting for all that eye covers and a few loops around.

However, if you are still unsure of what you are looking at - just remember that it is great if you sign, great if you share and whatever it - it is nothing short of  'great'

Aditional info:   50% of personal profits will be donated towards supporting exposed and vulnerable communities, spaces and safehouses whilst actively working towards evening out informational distribution and health disparities across global nodes.

*TGC is a registered company which seeks to provide  content under its logo and name. Its primary incentive is increased focus  on health care, self-care and free-access to information, whilst fostering a community of and for health(y expansion).
 In its first stage the content will be digital, following the growth  which would be leading towards  the second stage - founding a specialised cantine-like  physical store-spaces offering a  concept first of its kind
