Hello, 

Thank you for supporting the campaign to persuade St Albans School to rethink its plans; plans that would permanently obliterate the scenery you can see in the picture and most of the insects, bats, badgers and animals that you cannot.  

As a former teacher I am extremely troubled at the disparity in facilities between private and state schools. 

As a cyclist I am not able to safely cycle with my daughter to school in and around New Greens where we live.   Believe me, I have tried and I have the videos of drivers beeping at a 9 year old girl and double decker buses driving on pavements towards us to prove it.

If the school sells then there will be a further 4000 extra ‘vehicle journeys’ per day in and around New Greens.   Watch this figure explained

If the schools sells something as precious as this area of Green Belt, the only people who benefit are those who already have.
