The EMS Foundation supported by the elephant experts of the Pro Elephant Network express their commendation at this forward thinking and ground breaking decision to retire Charlie the solitary bull elephant living at the Pretoria zoo. 

The EMS Foundation and the Members of the Pro Elephant Network will continue the nineteenth month process with SANBI to establish the best possible future for Charlie.
