Deadly Exploitation

The CTA mismanagement assigns the most grueling, dangerous work for Full-Timers to the low wage Second Chance "Apprentices." Year after year, they assign this Contract-violating, union-busting work to men under and unwritten lie that they will be "turned over to Full-Time" faster by doing it. 

I filed a Class Action Grievance about it in 2023. Almost three years later, we still have no decision.

If they complain, they risk being targets for mismanagers. So they complain to me, a union rep. 

Unfortunately, it seems that the Second Chancers don’t need fans while they hand wash the filthy trains. Emails from their manager seem to be ignored. So I decided to make this post before another CTA worker DIES at work!
