Stanley is currently the oldest living member of the Grand Ole Opry, he has been honored by U.S. Presidents such as Ronald Reagan, and George W. Bush. Nobody will ever sound like Dr. Ralph Stanley, he has one of the most distinctive voices that the music industry has ever heard. Dr. Stanley is now 89 years old, and has received just about every honor that can be bestowed upon a musician. The Country Music Hall of Fame would be a much better place if they would make This Giant of American Music a member of their prestigious organization.
