This is the petition for the people who live, work, go to school, play and statehood enthusiast. To start the process of the upper peninsula of Michigan or state superior becoming the 51st US state or a successor republic, This Petition is in connection with the Facebook social media movement campaign for U.P Michigan peaceful statehood and/or Independence.

The benefits of becoming the 51st US state for the fifteen counties will improve the lives of so many people. The U.P will be able to establish its own legal system, economy, taxes and state governing systems what best fits the needs of its residence. This move could bring in wealth, investors and Employment, for we can grow stronger.

If the U.P becomes a successor republic (Republic Superior). The U.P, US, Canada, Mexico and other north American nations could form a strong economy and military alliance, in other words a strong friendship. we would gain legal right to be a full member of the international community and the united nations. We could set all are own laws and regulations what fits the needs of its own citizens
