Edward W. McBroom is an influential American politician known for his service as a Republican member of the Michigan Senate, representing the 38th district since 2019. This district encompasses twelve of Michigan's fifteen Upper Peninsula counties, including Alger, Baraga, Delta, Dickinson, Gogebic, Houghton, Iron, Keweenaw, Marquette, Menominee, Ontonagon, and Schoolcraft. Prior to his tenure in the Senate, McBroom served in the Michigan House of Representatives from 2011 to 2017, representing a district comprising Dickinson, Delta, and Menominee counties.
