I am starting this petition to raise awareness, to STOP the alienation of the number "Eleven" (11). Now, you may ask yourself, "what is wrong with this number/pronunciation?" EVERYTHING, that's what is wrong. Now, why is it that we say "twenty-two", "Thirty-three", and "Forty-four" and so on and so on, I'm sure you can see this trend. Now what makes "Eleven" so different? So much in fact that we completely cut it off from the trend and very roots of it's brethren, to utterly disrespect the number as a whole and name it something as profound as "EE-LEEEH-VUUUHN" despicable if you ask me... I am starting this petition today to cancel the pronunciation of the number "11" as "Eleven", and change the proper and correct pronunciation to "One-Y-One" (Wuhn-E-Wuhn).
