Hello all you wonderful supporters 

I have some exciting news to share. 
We are making progress, I have heard back from our Lord Mayor Basil Zempilas and he’s pushing hard to deliver on his campaign promise to return the Christmas Nativity! 
The Lord Mayor Basil Zempilas has informed me that today he has put a motion forward to the council to reinstate the Christmas Nativity show, this will go to vote on Tuesday the 24th November at the public council meeting. 
I’m very grateful to the Lord Mayor for listening to the people on this important matter, and for putting this motion forward to the council for vote. He truly wants to deliver on his campaign promise to the people. 
Everyone is welcome to attend this meeting if you are free to do so. 

I suggest if you could all write to the councillors in the City of Perth, asking them to support the Lord Mayor’s motion and give the Christians the Christmas Nativity back to enjoy with their families, especially in a year like we have had, it’s more important than ever to have such a great event full of love, hope and the joy this brings to so many people. We cannot forget about the true meaning of what Christmas is all about and the birth of Jesus Christ needs to be celebrated the traditional way. 
The Christmas Nativity show has brought so much joy to thousands of people for over two decades and it’s the only one in Perth of it’s kind, we must always defend our Christian traditions and values.
