Subject : Prayer to Favour Compassion in Cases Related to Animal Sacrifice / Rights

Respected Sir

There is a divinity oriented opportunity in your hands as the Supreme Court is dealing with three or more issues related to Animal Rights.

These are related to animal sacrifice at religious places and to recognize individual personality character of animals.

In case of sacrifice three reasons are normally quoted

(1)To please the Divine Power

(2) To substitute a living being to suffer or once own sins.

(3) To offer the prayer in a traditional manner.

Sir, with the passage of time we as a society have shown the courage to stand against irrational ideas / traditional values.

Even a person with a bare minimum true belief in divinity knows / feels it very well.

Divinity stands for compassion not for cruelty. We call the Divine Powers as the ocean of Compassion and Strength.

Obviously, the flesh and blood including other items, physically they do not reach divine power. It is devotion which reaches to that Supernatural Power.

Devotion which is expressed through cruel acts against voiceless souls (animals, birds) can never be regarded as devotion based on sacred love.

Sir, we pray for the closure of rivers of blood of animals and birds. These rivers of blood have been given legal sanctity till now.

We hope the momentum created by Hon’ble Judges at High Courts of Tripura, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Kerala will be continued at most sacred place of justice in our country i.e. Hon’ble Supreme Court.

Sir, you can consider our request (prayers) on the behalf of the countless animals and birds being sacrificed out of ignorance and traditions at various religious places in our country of sages.

Thanks with regards
