We are excited to announce the historic Clarendon Park Community Center will be renovated!! The Chicago Park District has confirmed that area residents and park patrons have overwhelming voted in support of the renovation, so the renovation will be done!

The renovation will allow Clarendon Park’s diverse programming to continue. For example, in 2018 the Garfield-Clarendon Model Railroad Club launched a STEM Youth Program that so impressed the Burlington Northern Railroad that they gave the Model Railroad Club a grant of $2000 to continue this year. Stay tuned for info on community meetings to discuss the options and how to wisely use the funds for the phased renovation.
