The 2-year validity for all the globally recognized English tests such as IELTS, and TOEFL, etc is racist, discriminatory, and plain absurd.

Imagine that you gave an English language test in 2015; throughout your work or education, you are being taught, examined, and correspond in English. Come 2017, and you want to apply for admission to a Masters degree program, a PhD program, immigration, or a job that requires that you have sufficient English language skills to carry it out. Now, you would have to give another test because apparently, according to test-taking bodies of such tests, you have lost all English language ability after 2 years.

People in various countries, particularly those from former British colonies, study English before they have even started formal schooling. They study English for over a decade. Moreover, English is adopted as a second language worldwide due to almost all scientific literature being published in English. People from mostly economically deprived regions apply for such tests in the first place. The 2-year validity of such tests is a money-making scheme (scam) by the administering bodies such as IETLS and ETS etc. People do not lose their language skills in 2 years which they have gained in decades. Such time validity policies are racist and discriminatory, particularly against people from economically deprived countries. Therefore, there should be no time validity of such tests.
