Over the years Jeremy Clarkson has infused his appearances on various programmes on the BBC with an attitude that implies there is merit in treating a variety of minority groups badly. The fact that he appears to be bigger than the BBC in some people's perception is not justifiable. He should be treated in the same way as any other employee who is on a final warning and sacked for meting out violence to a colleague at work. If he is reinstated what kind of message would that give to others vis a vis appropriate behaviour in the workplace?
