I was given  a task plan of things we need to complete. It's pretty mandatory for everyone who goes through this to receive one. I found it important to begin chipping off the things asked of me, so the girls could come home as quickly as possible. 

One thing tasked of me was that I set up trauma therapy for both my daughter's,  for the trauma they received being removed into DCF custody. Yep, you heard me right,  these people commited illegal federal and civil law rights against me and removed two children, who were happy and well adjusted with their family, and it's our fault you did that with no basis or regard for the family reunification they claim to always try to restore.

I found a wonderful private practice,  who employed a psychologist, who was certified in trauma therapy for adolescents,  and she seemed like a good fit. We set up an appointment and went. She gave me a pamphlet and business card and said she would work with the case worker, to devise a plan on how they can get together and meet with the girls, for an assessment and then to place them with psychologists.  She said she would either take both, depending on their needs or split the girls between her and her partner but both had a background in this area, and she felt it critical to get both girls into services immediately.  We were very happy with the outcome of this appointment 

The same day, we had visitation with the girls, so I took the pamphlet and the card with me to visitation, and she thanked me for doing the leg work for her and told me she would get in touch.  Then time goes by and I am being sent emails about blood work and dental exams. These were always necessary but In reached out to ask when their emotional wellbeing and mental health will be addressed with the same urgency because it is the most needed.  

From the date they were taken until now,  with it being close to two months, they have yet to lean on anyone but school counselors not equipped in trauma therapy.  My oldest spoke to me weeks ago about her need for someone to reach out to because she didn't feel her school counselor was helping her at all.

When I received a response from this caseworker,  she told me they decided against the psychologist we chose but did not give a reason why. Then she stated she planned on putting them on a waiting list, with a therapy counseling agency, where a counselor I had seen previously, for general counseling, commited a HIPPA violation against me with a state caseworker. My attorney found this and an ADA violation openly commited against me during this time and it was turned into the state. I was told I should follow through with an investigation into this clinician I had been seeing, for almost a year, for this violation and I have an open case against them for this. This is where they want to put my children. Instead of placing them with the psychologist,  that deals in trauma therapy,  for my children where they can begin starting assessment for treatment now, the Hyannis offices of DCF would rather put them on a lengthy waiting list, with a clinician,  at a therapy center where their Mother has an open case against with the MA medical board. 

The only sense that can be made, to me, would be the fact that if you look on the site of the counseling agency they are hell bent on sending them to, conflict of interest or not,  happens to get funding by DCF for their adoption service therapy options so it's more about referral benefits and money than it is actually commiting to the tasks you have asked of the parents and the best interest of the child and their emotional needs.

It took emails back and forth a bunch of times before they actually admitted these facts to us, even though each email I outlined my questions and at no point were they fully answered. When I kept asking since I have always been truthful and open each time I am asked a question by them, I was then sent an email from my caseworkers supervisor, telling me my caseworker could only answer emails once a week and maybe I could get all my questions together and ask them in one email but if she actually looked at our email interactions, she would have seen that was actually what I already did.  I listed 3 separate questions,  asking about them and each time they were asked, I never received the answer to my question so had this actually happened,  in the first place, no one would have had to go to email two and each email shows I have listed out all my questions so I don't know how else I am suppose to do it when it's the way it had been written in the first place. They also gave me the option to come in and speak with them. I'm not talking any further without an attorney present or through email.  I don't see what the problem is with just answering the 3 questions I had regarding my children's therapy and I believe I should have the respect,  to at least, explain to me the reasons why you chose against my therapy choice to go with one you already know will be an issue if it's really about the betterment of the child and I think this circumstance fully shows their motivations once they take children from their family.
