We are meeting with senator price this Wednesday to organise lodging our petition in the senate. The Sydney morning heralds article Saturday (see image below) from Dana Daniel confirmed what we all knew but nursing homes finally admitted too via their professional organisation - nursing homes are NOT setting allied health in future budgets (they are even attacking physios as over servicing which is ludicrous! The royal commission said that Allied health is inadequate and government agreed!)

With an election coming it’s up to US to make sure government whoever gets elected does keep allied health. 

Alwyn did a happy dance to pointer sisters when we reached 10,000. He’s accepted another challenge - if we can get to 20,000 (even after the petition is lodged) he will be dancing the floss! Early efforts as we try to explain and show him are NOT encouraging :) But we will hold him to it.
