Update petisiSenate petition to ensure physiotherapy and allied health for nursing home residentsDoes the Morrison government REALLY expect us to believe physios are motivated by financial gain?

Take a look at the physio in this picture from a MAJOR article in SMH that just came out today - do you really believe that physios like this one are at fault here? Every physio (and OT) we know doing pain management is doing the best they can in a system DESIGNED by this government. Blaming the physios doing the work others make money off is NOT fair. And how can there be overservicing when there is only 8 minutes a resident a day at the moment, which the Royal Commission said was inadequate and 22 minutes a day was needed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We need YOUR help to capitalise on the interest this story will generate and push back on any notion that physio and allied health is motivated by financial gain so that there is too much. This is simply untrue. Its inadequate now and it will be dead and non-existant in October, and even sooner as nursing homes are already setting budgets and culling allied health.

We are NOT putting up with this. We are meeting Senator Janet Price this Wednesday to lodge our petition, so we are running out of time! We need as many of you (nearly 19,000 on this petition to go to the link at the end.

REMEMBER -!!!!! if you don't go to this link and give your details, under new senate rules we CANT lodge your signature that you made on change.

If you want your support to count and be lodged at the Senate soon, you MUST complete the details on this secure link below. Thank you for support helping us stop the #deathofagedcare. Allied health in aged care is back on the agenda thanks to your efforts. Now we need as many as we can to enter details below!
