Thank you everyone who has signed. The momentum keeps building. Our campaign director Alwyn Blayse (below) gave evidence at a Queensland parliamentary inquiry into aged care and other issues yesterday. Alwyn spoke passionately about how physio and allied health are literally life and death issues for older people. And the state government members there were listening and VERY concerned. They asked for more information in our submission due next week on the effect of not having physio and allied health on older people and the whole community because of extra load on public hospitals.
We want to get as many people signing and sharing by Thursday the 16th when this submission is due. And once over 5000 we are much more likely to get mainstream media coverage. So pls comment and share on your socials, email to your contacts , take a device into an aged care home if you know someone there too. Older people need physio and allied health. And with a state government starting to pay attention we need to keep the momentum up. Thank you!
