The Issue
The Army Corps of Engineers denied the easement to bore under Lake Oahe which feeds into the Missouri River due to the fact that there has not been a proper environmental impact study. On Friday, Dec. 9th, 2016 the Dakota Access Pipeline sued and went to court in which they were told no easement because of drilling without proper permits.
The drill pad is closer to the water than legally permitted.
We petition The Army Corps of Engineers to remove the employees of The Dakota Access Pipeline and remove the drilling equipment.
