Sexual frustration is a fairly common phenomenon among men. In fact, many of us would prefer to have no sex drive at all. It is well-known that chemical castration tends to dramatically reduce, or even eliminate, sexual desire in men.

Unfortunately, endocrinologists are typically unwilling to assist such men in undergoing hormone replacement therapy. It is unfair that male-to-female transwomen are provided the assistance they desire for hormone replacement therapy, yet men who want to undergo chemical castration are denied access to this. 

For many men, hormone replacement therapy is a purely temporary measure, whose purpose is to help us determine if we want to pursue castration with a urologist. We are therefore requesting that the desires of aspiring eunuchs be recognized as legitimate, and that we are given the same medical access to such medical treatment as aspiring transsexuals.
