Thank you to everyone who has signed this petition so far. Your voice helps advocate for these animals who cannot advocate for themselves. And another example of complete lack of transparency from this organization we see that last night, animal control posted about 2 Parvo puppies. They claimed that they were unable to get a hold of rescue partners to take these puppies therefore the puppies had to stay overnight. Parvo is incredibly contagious and fatal for many dogs who catch it. Animal control does not hesitate to give themselves a pat on the back for their limited staff being able to care for these puppies overnight. The truth of the matter is,  animal control did not reach out to a single rescue partner to take these puppies. They simply used this story to gain attention and support from donors. They failed to reach out to Rescue‘s to take two incredibly contagious dogs which put the entire population of the shelter, including these dogs who would’ve benefited from emergency medical care, at risk.
