Ever since Kevin Hart left the Oscars host position, the Academy has had problems booking a new host.  However, I have a new PR move, why not take in an underdog?  Like the Academy Award winning film, Rocky, the dominate champion, Apollo Creed, gave Rocky Balboa a shot at glory.  Hosting the Oscars, to me, would be the chance of a lifetime.  I understand this possibly won't happen, but I have to try.  I would argue if you take in a complete unknown, who knows about the industry, the Academy could bridge the gap between Hollywood and the common people as well.

I have loved films all my life.  I may have had disagreements with others on the subject, but the Oscars are like the Superbowl to people like me.  Sure, by the end of every single one, debates would erupt about the snubs, the losses, etc.  But that is the fun in discussing film.  I feel like I could be a perfect candidate because I have had an education in the film industry, both in and out of class.  I've made several short films and have discussed films for nearly four years now.

My only requirements is that I will need transport down there and lodging.  That's it.  If the Academy decides to pay me, I will be donating 75% to a charity of my choosing.  The other 25% will go towards getting equipment for my film career.
