300 is a great number. 300 people showed their support by signing this petition. Many others were also in support of keeping Point Ellice House open and many made their voices heard loud and clear to the Provincial Government.

The Provincial Government finally announced that Point Ellice House will be preserved and will reopen soon to the public. Thank you to everyone involved in trying to keep this historical jewel alive. The public has been heard.

Also the Provincial Government is planning to slowly reopen sections of the Third Floor of the Royal BC Museum. If you haven't already signed the petition to preserve the third floor as well. The petition (which was started soon after the initial announcement of the third floor's closure back in 2021) has played an important role in saving the third floor and is demanding nothing less than the full restoration of it, which the government has yet to commit to.
