Please forgive my silence, it’s been a rough few days. Thank you for your continued support and sharing the petition. 

I’ve been doing some research and I’ve found some good statistics on the number percentage you need to hit in order to create change. 3.5% of the population. That is our goal. Texas’ population is estimated to be 28.7 million, so that means we need about 1 million and 4 thousand signatures. 

At first thought, you may think that is impossible! I don’t believe for a minute that number is an impossible number to reach. 

I’m calling you to action. 

I’ll start with those of you who live in San Antonio. Stormie lived there for awhile during her elementary school years, while her dad was stationed there. Your child may have been in her class, played with her on the playground. Your population is 2.5 million! 

El Paso! Stormie lived there during her freshman, sophomore & a little bit of her junior year. She attended Parkland High School. She was in choir and theater. Her favorite spot in the city was on scenic drive, overlooking the city. Your population is 923,936! 

Midland! Stormie finished her High School years there at Robert E. Lee High School. She was in theater there. During high school she worked as a cashier at HEB. She then worked at Outback, Abuelos, Little Woodrow’s. She has family there. Your population is 159,947! 

Denton area! Stormie lived there and worked at The Prairie House. She has family in the area. Your counties population is 877, 332. 

Lubbock! Stormie lived there for a few months and worked at Cujos. She also spent a lot of time at the Texas Tech Hospital, Southern Assisted living and Trustpoint while she was there, supporting someone in need. Your population is 319,499. 

Dallas! Stormie’s last place to live. She loved the city life. Enjoying Dallas Cowboy games, shopping, the night life. She has family in the area. Your population is over 5 million! 

Austin area! She has family there and has spent a lot of time in your city! Your population is 2.1 million! 

Wichita Falls! Her Grammy, Nanci Hicks, lived there with her parents and siblings. Her great grandpa was H.E. Allen, a well liked and respected Assemblies of God minister. She has family that still lives in the area. Your population is 154,105!

Winnsboro! Her mother lived the majority of her childhood there. Her granddaddy pastored the First Assembly of God there for years. ( he still lives there!) Her Grammy worked at the High School up until she became ill and then passed. Many of you have watched her grow up during her visits to her grandparents. Your population is 3,329!

Military stationed in Texas. She is one of you! Not only is her dad retired Army, Her uncle is retired Air Force, her Granddaddy was Air Force, Her Aunt is Army National Guard, Her uncle is retired Army National Guard. She has cousins in the Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and National Guard. Your active duty population in Texas is 164,234. 

It takes a few seconds to share the petition. It takes a minute to write a little blurb, before sharing it, ie- “Sign to abolish the right to bond for a confessed murderer in the State of Texas!! Please copy, paste, sign and share! “

All it takes is for you ( the almost 5k signers) is to get 200 people to sign. Most of us, have double that number on our friends list. ( Facebook) You can also share the link through Twitter, Email, Text, WhatsApp, Reddit, Facebook groups, etc.  Remember to use the hashtag #stormieslaw .
