I have been told in the past that we need to start small to make a change! On April 22, 2015 about 8:40pm, A crash happened along U.S. Highway 183 in Williamson County just north of Liberty Hill that changed our family dynamics forever. Mr. Alvarado plowed into the Nissan Altima with the mother (Crystal Morin) and children (Kody, Koby, Kristopher, Kirstin) inside, as she was trying to turn left onto Saratoga Springs Drive. Two children Kirsten (age 9) & Koby (age 15) were killed in the crash. We can not wait for another precious child to be killed to take action. We believe that the design of Highway 183, created a public safety hazard and increased risk to residents of Liberty Hill and the surrounding areas, as evidence by multiple motor vehicle accidents at this site. Specifically, we support a reduction of the speed limit in this area AND the addition of a turning lane AND/OR installation of a traffic signal. 

People travel down this road at excessive speeds and due to of the lack of turning lanes & those excessive speeds makes the stretch extremely dangerous! When you add the people that travel down the road intoxicated like Mr. Alvarado did on the 22nd, leaves a lot of questions that deserve answers from the people that were elected by voters like us.
