Raised speed limit!!!

So all of us that live off of 281 right past HWY 71 overpass get to enjoy higher speed limits. Thank you TXDOT for endangering us even more. It's not enough for there to be near collisions from people not paying attention when we are trying to turn, now we get to enjoy higher speeds and even more distractions because you're basically insinuating that they're in the clear once you pass HWY 71. I'm absolutely at a loss for words. I've been quiet lately because I've felt defeated and this just proves my point. The lady from TXDOT named Kathy that I met with never called me or followed up at all. So obviously they met with me just to say they did. If anyone wants to help, I suggest calling our local TXDOT office (512-756-2315) and asking for answers. Ask why when we have a petition with plenty of signatures we get ignored. This is Texas. We should have a voice. We all pay taxes here and we should have a say. Please be in prayer for this situation because at this point that's all I know to do. Thanks again for your support.
