TXDOT meeting went well!

Met with TXDOT just now, they said they would look into making immediate changes such as a blinking light and rumble strips, but that the turn lane process usually takes a year or two. It's a little discouraging to hear, but I'm hopeful that if we all continue to be a force behind this, they will continue to make changes on our highways. I did address the speed limit being an issue as well, that is something that would be less time until a turn lane is done, and they said they would keep me updated as they know more. So I will keep updating all of you as I know more! Thank you all SO very much for sharing this and spreading the word about this. It's bringing awareness to TXDOT of the major problems on our highways and for that I'm so grateful. I will continue fighting this for all of us, and will not stop until we get results!
