Good morning friends

Tesco announced recently that they intend to increase the number of self-service-card-only-tills.  This is a terrible decision, and is against everything customers are saying - tens of thousands of people quite frankly 'hate' these SSCOT's.  Nevertheless Tesco's have taken the decision to increase their use in store.

Can you please find out who your local Tesco's supermarket manager and then write to him/her.  You might want to say 'Dear Mr/Miss (name).  I am writing to enquire about the new self-service-card-only tills being installed across the country in Tesco stores.  

These self-service-card-only tills create a shopping disappointment and take away the personal and delightful service of a customer services assistant helping me with my shopping.  What used to be a very pleasant experience of shopping at Tesco's has become a bit of a nightmare. These machines are often slower than the staffed tills being operated by a customer services assistant.

The self-service-card-only-tills are rarely used and hundreds of thousands of customers are opposed to them - almost 240,000 at the latest count.

Why are Tesco's preferring machines to people to deliver its customer shopping experience? If anything the shopping experience is being diminished rather than improved.
