Tesco are ending carrier bags and tray liners for deliveries. These are essential to those of us who are less able , many of us who have difficulty bending , dizziness ,strength and many more issues which this will affect. Groceries will now be loose in the tray and will need removing item by item - almost impossible in our case and the help tray liners give will be much missed - we prefer them to carrier bags but any help is useful.
Goods will now be in contact with the multi used trays which will only add to the packers workload if these have to be cleaned enough to put the groceries straight into , I can tell you that the delivery drivers are not happy about this change either. I wrote to Tesco and was told that drivers could carry the trays into the kitchen ...sorry , then we would feel extra pressure to empty the trays faster where as with the liners we can take our much needed time.

We know the world has to save on plastic but the liners are more easily recycled and the need to help people is surely a small price to pay by keeping them and we are more than happy to pay .

Please keep them and keep your customers for we are certainly considering changing to any store that thinks customer first after many years of shopping with Tesco . I have read many reports that there are many who feel the same .
