Tennessee animal welfare laws are well below national standards.   Currently it is completely legal to keep a dog chained out during extreme weather.  Many of the citizens in Tennessee believe that dogs should be protected from neglect by our state laws.  We believe that dogs should never be chained outside in extreme weather.  Join us to show the Tennessee State House that we support House Bill 2860.   Sign this petition to tell them that we demand better laws to force negligent owners to improve standards of care for their dogs.  Give officers of the law more guidelines to follow to allow enforcement of cruelty to animals.
