The City Council of Glendale, Arizona has voted not to renew the 18-year lease with regards to the Arizona Coyotes Hockey Team and the National Hockey League. In addition, the City has voted to focus more on other things which include a waterpark, other events at the arena, and Arizona Cardinals football games. 

As a Coyotes fan since I was born, I have seen what they did bringing home one of the best seasons in the 2011-2012 NHL season. I am confident that the Coyotes will bring home Stanley Cup to our State within the next century. Should they decide to relocate, this will be an event with bad consequences for the City of Glendale, the City of Tempe, the State of Arizona and the fans of the Arizona Coyotes.

If they decide to leave, we want immediate opposition to any and all relocation ideas which should be met with helping fans in the East Valley support their team. The Valley of the Sun is where most of the fans are. We want to see another championship come home to our State, but we also want the Coyotes to stay and building an arena with East Valley support would help boost the economy of the State and keep the team at home. 

The fans of the Arizona Coyotes Hockey Club are greatly concerned about the fact that it may not be possible. If you would like to help, sign and share this petition with Coyotes fans and help keep our team at home in the State of Arizona and keep hockey in the desert.
