Hi everyone!
PLEASE TWEET OUR PETITION TO THE NEW YORK TIMES AND ITS PUBLIC EDITOR – TWEET IT EARLY AND OFTEN!
@nytimes, @nytopinion, @spaydl
Kids, the cat is out of the bag! Two days ago, Bret Stephens himself tweeted me the following: “Flattered by attention, @DoctorVive. First column appears Saturday. @nytopinion celebrates diversity of viewpoints, not suppression. Cheers.” I told him that we didn't oppose “diversity,” we oppose columnists who lie in print.
And yesterday, in an article about the distinguished climate scientists canceling their Times subscriptions over Stephens' hire, our petition and its now TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND SIGNATURES was cited and quoted: “'Please join us in calling on The New York Times to rescind its offer to Bret Stephens and in his place hire a columnist committed to advancing his political position without using lies to support his argument,' says the petition" (http://bit.ly/2qngZ0C).
This article, our petition, Stephens' tweet, and my response are now being retweeted to The New York Times! IT'S TIME TO APPLY THE PRESSURE.
TWEET THE PETITION EARLY, TWEET IT OFTEN, TWEET IT LIKE THE TRUTH DEPENDED ON IT!
Thank you for all that you do! See you in DC!
