Thank you for your support of our ongoing #MailTheAbortionPill campaign. With your help, we have now reached over 10,000 signatures! We are not letting up until the FDA lifts these restrictions so that pregnant people can get the pill where they take the pill — at home!

As part of our campaign to demand that the FDA make safe and effective abortion pills available at local retail pharmacies and by delivery through the mail, we recently introduced an animated video that tells the story of what’s really going on and published an op-ed in The Hill with NWHN Executive Director Cindy Pearson and former FDA Assistant Commissioner for Women’s Health Susan Wood. They wrote: “The FDA protected the health of other types of patients by allowing telemedicine and relaxing REMS restrictions [in March]. The U.K. protected the health of patients using early medication abortion [in April]. The FDA must lift its restrictions and protect medication abortion patients in the United States now. Every day makes a difference.”

We haven’t stopped here. 

We are continuing our efforts to raise visibility and ensure that we make our voices heard through our campaign’s presence on a billboard in New York state. Our campaign has been featured in Ms. Magazine and Forbes, and referenced in a host of other publications, including the New York Times.

We are continuing to speak out to ensure that the FDA and Stephen Hahn hear our voices. We will continue to hold them accountable and fight for pregnant people to get the pill where they take the pill - at home! 

Our work on the frontlines to protect and expand health care is critical. We couldn’t do it without your support.
