Tell Sylectus: Stop Enabling Backdoor Load Access That Hurts Real Carriers

Tell Sylectus: Stop Enabling Backdoor Load Access That Hurts Real Carriers
The Issue
Independent expedite carriers are being undercut.
Sylectus is a vital load board used by real, asset-based carriers and brokers across North America. But its email load alert feature has become a loophole exploited by app-based systems and automation tools — giving non-carriers and tech bots direct access to loads intended for motor carriers.
These email alerts, originally meant to help brokers connect with carriers, are now being scraped, parsed, and used by dispatchers and tech-driven platforms to flood brokers with underpriced offers — often without any real authority, insurance, or asset verification.
The result?
Carriers who own trucks, pay drivers, and run legal authority are being ghosted and underbid — frequently by entities that shouldn’t be operating at all.
Additionally, Sylectus is being exploited through account sharing and unauthorized access reselling. Individuals and companies with no legitimate carrier authority are buying, selling, or leasing platform access. This creates a major vulnerability for:
- Double brokering
- Cargo theft
- FMCSA authority identity fraud
- Real carriers are being pushed out while criminals and unqualified operators profit off of a system never meant to serve them.
We, the undersigned, request that Sylectus immediately:
- Disable or restrict access to automated email alerts for load notifications
- Verify MC/DOT status before issuing alerts
- Audit and stop account reselling and shared access
- Enforce stricter controls to prevent parsing tools and bot activity
We respectfully ask Sylectus to close the loopholes.
Sign and share this petition to protect the integrity of the expedite industry and give legitimate carriers a fair playing field!
We also plan to submit these requests to many federal agencies in the United States and Canada.
