Tell Reddit to stop allowing hate speech on its platform, and stop mods from being abusive
The Issue
Reddit has allowed subreddits to use hate speech, and words that are verbally abusive to Redditors. They have a subreddit called r/okbuddyr****d, that should be removed, but Reddit doesn't seem to care. We must demand that Reddit do this, and if not, we will sue them. Just because it's the internet doesn't mean that websites should allow hate speech. Using the R word is never acceptable, and shouldn't be normalized. The R word is very offensive to people, and is regarded as being worse than the N word. People get hurt by words. The 1st Amendment of the USA gives the citizens the right to free speech, which means we have the right to speak out against our Government, but does not give us the right to be verbally abusive to others. Working together, we will make Reddit know that we will not stand for this. We as Reddit users have the power to have Reddit actually strictly enforce their sitewide rules. We also won't stand for any offensive subreddit names, or abusive mods either. If we win, Reddit will be a more enjoyable place for others. If we lose, we should sue Reddit.
