Notice how this text from an FAQ on the PSEG website mentions Eastport Manor Road but says nothing about STEEL POLES being placed there. Wood poles went in on Eastport Manor Road when the project started, then the steel poles went in with no notice. "Will the project include new poles or pole replacements? This project will replace 25 wood poles along the LIPA right-of-way with direct embedded steel poles. 150 wood poles along CR51 will be replaced with steel poles. In addition, numerous poles will be replaced and some new poles will be on installed Eastport-Manor Road south of CR51." The "LIPA right-of-way" mentioned above is described on the same webpage as "north of CR 51." Nowhere does the webpage mention STEEL on Eastport-Manor Road.
