On Wednesday in the TN Senate Health and Welfare Committee, a new Counseling Discrimination bill may be up for discussion. The bill would put into law the ability of counselors to opt out of serving clients based on the counselor's religious beliefs. These bills target the LGBT community. Voice your opposition by signing and sharing the petition at the link: https://www.change.org/p/tennessee-senate-health-and-welfare-committee-vote-no-on-sb1556-the-counseling-discrimination-bill . ***Also, if you haven't already signed up as a "co-sponsor" of the People's Resolution against the Legislature's whiny anti-marriage equality resolution, you can do so at this link: http://tnep.nationbuilder.com/the_people_s_resolution_opposing . Thanks for all you do to advance equality in Tennessee! Gratefully yours, Chris Sanders Executive Director
