Pass the New York medical marijuana bill this year!

The Issue

The Compassionate Care Act would allow New Yorkers with cancer, HIV/AIDS, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, and other debilitating conditions to access medical marijuana if their doctors recommend it.

More than 80% of New York voters support legal access to medical marijuana, and it has been approved five times in the State Assembly. Yet, Senate leaders have not allowed it to receive a vote on the Senate floor, and Gov. Cuomo has not expressed support for the measure.

Please sign our petition calling on Gov. Andrew Cuomo and New York Senate Majority Co-Leaders Dean Skelos and Jeffrey Klein to take action to ensure the Compassionate Care Act passes this year. Let them know patients should not have to wait another year for relief!
