The City met with the Design Working Group (DWG) on September 14th to review and gain input on the initial design. Design will be refined based on the DWG’s feedback and shared with the broader community on October 12th and 14th. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with the project team, get questions answered and review informational displays. I guess Judge Goldberg is giving our case a lot of thought! http://www.coloradoforum.com/david-goldberg/ However, two additional law suits have been filed that would impact the outcome on City Park Golf Course. Attorney Aaron Goldhamer and another lawyer from his firm, Melissa Healey , have filed a NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY ACT (NEPA) suit that has been combined with another NEPA law suit filed by the Sierra Club. Both suits claim that CDOT did not include all impacts that Highway I 70 would have on humans, neighborhoods, the environment or on historical elements like City Park Golf Course . They are asking for an IMMEDIATE STAY on all I 70 and Platt to Park Hill projects until these impacts are fully investigated. CDOT knew that there would be impacts from I 70 but decided to save time and money by just ignoring them and making up a fairy tale that I 70 would have no negative impact on our community and was not connected to Platte to Park Hill drain.
