As you know , CDOT has plans to widen and lower I-70 and in the process, with Denver, install a 1965-style drainage system that will destroy historic City Park Golf Course and expose residents of these neighborhoods to toxic pollution from the I 70/Vasquez Superfund Site. They are trying to rush this through and are making it very difficult for the public or professionals who are trying to save them from the pollution, to see the data and modeling that they used to come up with their new numbers. WE WOULD HAVE TO LIVE WITH AND PAY FOR THESE BOONDOGGLES FOR DECADES TO COME. Ask CDOT to give us more time to review the documents, to give us access to the data and modeling online in an accessible format and to hold Public Hearings to educate and inform the public.
