The law suit to stop Denver from closing CPGC down for two years so it can.... rip out 285+ big trees..... bulldoze the beloved club house, build a big fancy event center in the middle of the course across from the Denver Zoo, increase traffic and destroy one of the worlds best natural storm water mitigation systems.... to install a 1965-style storm drainage system ( imagine, in a drought, a DRAIN to get rid of our precious rain water) to keep the 1965 style highway I 70 expansion from flooding and ..... to save developers of Denver's new Olympic Village 2026 ( area north of 39th Ave.) the cost and bother of dealing with water ........ IS MOVING FORWARD. An industrial storm drain is NOT a park use. WE WILL SEE YOU on Jan 3!!!
