A few months ago, the Department of Transportation issued a policy instructing airlines that they must allow any breed of service dog on board. Despite this mandate, Delta has doubled down on its stance against pit bulls as service animals.

In their press release addressing the issue, Delta said it will continue to ban pit bulls because they have yet to figure out a solution that satisfies both pit bull owners and airlines' safety requirements.

Kitty Block, the president and CEO of the Humane Society has called their decision "discriminatory."

As the holidays inch closer, continue to sign and share this petition so that families will be able to travel with their beloved animals.
