As hurricane season begins, President Trump is planning to phase out FEMA, the agency that helps Americans rebuild after disasters. This decision puts millions of lives and homes at serious risk.

FEMA has provided critical support during some of our nation’s worst moments—floods, wildfires, hurricanes, and tornadoes. It steps in when states are overwhelmed. Without it, many communities simply will not recover.
