My beautiful sister lost her life to what I believe to be foul play by her husband. As she lie there completely incapacitated he did nothing. He waited almost 24 hours before seeking her medical care. He did this to cover up what he had done. It gave him enough time for the insulin he shot her with to be non traceable in her system. It caused her to go into hypoglycemic shock which mimics a stroke. He was the one to drive her to the hospital himself and tell them she was having a stroke. So, the hospital treated it as such. After all, he was the one making all the medical decisions. Who was the beneficiary to her quarter of a million dollar life insurance policy and teachers retirement? He was. Unfortunately, in Texas he broke no law. So he got away with it Scott free. Had he been bound to the law like some other states have in place where if your spouse is in peril you have a duty to call for help; then maybe my sister would have seen justice. Her name is Sherry and I move to have this law amended and in her honor be called Sherry's law. My sister was a teacher who was admired and looked up to by her students and her peers for over 15 years in San Antonio Texas. We see it too often where money and insurance etc is the motive behind such senseless taking of human life. He wasted no time taking my sisters blood money and travelling to Germany on a vacation and married his new wife not long after my sister be laid to rest.  Please help my sister have a voice and change the law to protect others from this happening to them so my sisters life was not lost in total vein. It's as simple as just adding spouses to the list of elderly and children which are protected under this law.
