We the undersigned are extremely concerned that the TDSB senior management has decided to dole out bonuses to middle management.

As education workers, we have seen our workloads increase even as our classroom budgets decrease. It is taken for granted that we will continue shouldering the burden of the extra responsibilities that continue to be laden upon us with a conspicuous absence of even a word of thanks. A good way to begin to address this lacuna on senior management's part would be the cancellation and redistribution of the bonuses approved for middle management to be made available directly to the students via class and school budgets. 

Whereas the optics in this situation are terrible, and whereas they show the TDSB senior management as being woefully out of touch, we demand the bonuses be canceled and redistributed.
